Thrissur is a beautiful place for living because the peoples ,they are open minded, helpful.Thrissur town is a plaaned city, the great shakthan thampuran was the founder. City is a circular basis, Vadakkumnathan temple and Swaraj round is main attractions. East fort and West fort two corner stones. Shakthan thampuran Palace is in the heart of thrissur and Kerala sahithya academi, Lalitha kala academi etc are there. Puthan palli (New church ( Basilica of Our Lady of Dolours )) is in the center of Thrissur.
The place is famous for the laguage :- Thrissur - Language. Every one can enjoying and understand the language. Some film's used this language eg: Thuuvanathumbikal by P.Padmarajan.
